What is CMC?

CMC (Cell Membrane Complex) exists in the outer layer of the hair 

(hair cuticles) and the inner layer of the hair (hair cortex). CMC helps to hold

the important components such as moisture, protein, and oil which keeps the hair strong and healthy. 

When our hair becomes damaged due to chemical treatments, heat styling, and frequent exposure to UV rays. CMC will be lost through these processes, which causes these important components to be lost, resulting in many "gaps" in the hair.
